Let in the light

First half of my summer hols is now officially over and work starts today, blah. I first flew to Brussels and then continued to Malaga, Spain with mum a few days after. Spent a few days in our new apartment in Benalmádena and although most of the time went into hunting for patio furniture, the warmth and the sun made up for the lack of just lying around doing nothing. The 2nd & 3rd photos are from the yard of the apartment (and yes, that is TWO swimming pools ♥). The 4th is the view from the balcony (yes, that is the Mediterranean ♥). The 5th and 6th photos are from Fuengirola which is about a 10-minute car ride away. The 7th photo is of an English breakfast in the living room in the morning sun. The last two photos are from the Benalmádena Pueblo which is the administrative centre of Benalmádena and filled with white buildings and narrow alleys. I'm going back in August and that time around my only mission is to enjoy the sun and try out the swimming pool, goddamnit.

You shook me like I've never been

Typical, when I actually make an effort to photograph something in a loooong time of course I forget to check the settings. Thus the horrendously grainy photos with a crappy ISO setting. UGH. Nevertheless, the first half of my summer vacation began this past Monday and I flew to Brussels yesterday. Began today by doing absolutely nothing aka watching Lie to Me on Netflix until four in the afternoon. At about 5 o'clock I managed to drag my but out of the apartment to have drinks and burgers with mum. Bliss.

I'll take the long way wrong

Random photos from October (yes, I know!!!). I made the chevre-fig sandwiches in the above photo for a week straight because omg they are gooooood. I also remember drinking tea like a maniac because what is autumn without copious amounts of tea really. Sad reality is that I think I actually spent most of my time in front of my computer not doing school work but tumbling because hello big screen (& hi dylan) ♥

Wait for the tiderays

Pictures from my walk today. I love crisp autumn days, the colours, both muted and bright, the light and the smell of them. I was listening to Volcanir Choir while taking these and their song Tiderays (above) sets the perfect mood, I think! Should definitely take out the camera more, I miss photographing goddamnit.
